Psagot is a winery in the Judean Hills of Israel, where high-altitude vineyards bring cool nights and good freshness to the wines. This is its Cabernet Sauvignon.
Expect a full-bodied red with blackcurrant and black cherry, some herbal and cedar notes typical of the grape, and firm but rounded tannins. The altitude helps keep it balanced rather than jammy. It's a wine that shows how far Israeli winemaking has come, with balance that suits the dinner table more than the tasting room.
