DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Sangiovese Grosso from one of the higher sites in Montalcino, south of the town at around 450 metres, which keeps the acidity in place in a warm year. Wild cherry, strawberry and pomegranate with orange zest, then crushed herbs and a little cedar. Medium bodied, the tannins fine and already approachable, with a clean citrus and stone fruit finish. Scored in the mid nineties across the board.
