DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
One of very few wines in Bolgheri, or anywhere in Italy, made entirely from Cabernet Franc. Marilisa Allegrini named it for her brother Walter. Hand harvested and given eighteen months in French oak. Blackberry and black cherry with tobacco, smoke and cedar, pepper and a leathery savouriness, and the vegetal lift Cabernet Franc gives. Firm tannins, lively acidity, long finish.
