• Practicing Biodynamic • 100% Pinot Noir • Horseshoe Vineyard (Santa Cruz Mountains AVA) • Vines are a mix of 13 clones. Elevation is between 1360'-1610' • Soil is Monterey formation with intermingled limestone • Hand-harvested • Native yeast fermentation • Grapes go through 5 day cold soak before fermentation. Grapes are foot trodden twice a day during fermentation • Aged 18 months in 35% new French oak and for 15 months, the wine was aged on its lees • 12.7% ABV
