Visually brilliant translucent ruby-red. Highly expressive and aromatic on the nose. Dominated by ripe black cherries; fresh plums; sweet spices (cinnamon and clove); and a delicate touch of wood smoke. Fleshy; giving; and charming on the palate. The 2023 warmth translates into a velvety mouthfeel with rich; well-integrated tannins. Juicy layers of red berries and dark plum are framed by a subtle; clean minerality. It trades some of the 1er Cru's sheer brawn for immediate elegance and pure; upfront drinking pleasure.
