DESCRIPTION
The Saenz de Samaniego family has farmed in Samaniego, in Rioja Alavesa, since the sixteenth century. This rose is 70 percent Tempranillo with Garnacha and a little Viura, from their highest vineyards at 600 to 650 metres. Pale pink with an onion skin edge, strawberry and raspberry, a touch of orange peel, and a fresh, saline finish.
