Olivier Leflaive is one of the best-known names in Puligny-Montrachet, and Les Sétilles is its everyday white Burgundy. The grapes come from vineyards around Puligny and Meursault, so it gives you a real taste of the Côte de Beaune without the Premier Cru price.
This is Chardonnay in the classic Burgundy style. Expect citrus, green apple and white flowers, with a fresh, clean line of acidity and just a light touch of richness. It's crisp and easy to like, not oaky or heavy.
The 375ml half bottle is a good size for one or two people, or for a weeknight when you don't want to open a full bottle. Serve it chilled, around 50F. Try it with roast chicken, grilled fish, goat cheese or a simple pasta.
