DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
As America's first bottled bourbon, Old Forester enjoys a heritage as rich as its taste. George Garvin Brown, the founder of Old Forester was a pharmaceutical salesman in the 1860's. He recognized doctors' frustration in providing consistently good whisky for their patients. To satisfy this desire for good, quality bourbon on a consistent basis, he developed Old Forester, known as America's First Bottled Bourbon that ensured quality in every bottle.
