Thank the lord for a generous crop, as I often can’t get this wine in stingy vintages, Strub’s parcel isn’t sizeable enough. But this really shows the class of this site; demure, delicate, a regal refinement of scent and a tangy, gauzy balance; woodruff and sorrel and watermelon; it has the rippling sang froid of a leopard.
