This wine has the perfect balance of fruit and structure. Juicy berry fruits with subtle hints of herb are carried on polished tannins that enrich and add depth, progressing into a long finish.
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Branding Iron Oakville is from an Oakville vineyard. Notes of Christmas fruitcake, sweet black cherry and cassis fruit, some licorice and spice box are all present in this dense purple-colored wine. It is full-bodied, impressively endowed, with moderately high tannin. This wine will benefit from another 2-4 years of cellaring and should drink well for another 20-25 years.
