• Practicing Biodynamic • 95% Nerello Mascalese, 5% Carignan • 100% Estate from Centennial Mountain Vineyard (Sonoma County AVA) • Elevation 2,000 ft • Metamorphic Franciscan shale, schist, and quartz • Planted in 2013 • Hand-harvested • Native yeast primary and malolactic fermentation • Maceration was for 9 days with pumpovers twice a day before being pressed into barrels • Aged 22 months in 10hL Cask and neutral barrel • 14.5% abv
