The Barbaresco Starderi shows ripe red and black berries with juniper aromas; some tobacco; pepper and tar. Ripe and juicy fruit with fresh herbs and slightly bitter chocolate aromas; lively acidity and grip of fine tannins. Lots of power and good persistence; with nice spice and hints of smoky herbs in the background. A beautiful wine with great balance.
