DESCRIPTION
Movia is a biodynamic estate in Brda, in western Slovenia, right on the Italian border. Puro Rosé is its sparkling wine, and it's sold the unusual way: it still has its lees in the bottle, without being disgorged.
That means you open it yourself, upside down, so the sediment comes out with the first splash. What's left is fresh, flavorful and very mineral, with red berries, citrus and a yeasty edge. It's full of energy and will keep improving for years.
Chill it well, around 45F, and open it over a bowl or sink; look up the method before you start. It's great with oysters, prosciutto or sushi. A bottle for adventurous drinkers and a fun party trick.
Bottle size: 750ml
