Very European in style. Bone dry on the finish but full of tasty savoury and rather complex berry fruits. The oak is judiciously handled and in a nutshell it's a steal at this price.
Striking bright garnet red with violet at the rim. Aromas of ripe black and red fruits recalling blackberries and plums on the nose intermingled with delicious notes of pastry and milk chocolate. A spicy note on the backdrop harmonizes perfectly with light toasted notes from the French oak that also lends a pleasingly sweet sensation on the palate.
Very well balanced with delicious acidity, our Classic Merlot is a wine with medium body, well-rounded tannins, and a touch of fresh tobacco that lingers long on the finish.
