DESCRIPTION
Merryvale is a long-established Napa Valley winery in St. Helena, and Profile is its flagship red, a proprietary blend built around Bordeaux grapes.
Napa Bordeaux-style blends like this are about depth and polish. Expect dark fruit such as blackcurrant and black cherry, with cocoa, cedar and spice from oak, and firm, fine tannins. It's a wine with real structure that will reward some patience.
Decant it for an hour or more and serve around 62-65F in a large glass. Pair it with prime rib, lamb, venison or aged hard cheeses. A strong gift for a Napa collector or a centerpiece bottle for a special dinner.
Bottle size: 750ml
