Made from Coda di Volpe, a native Campanian grape, on the volcanic slopes of Vesuvius. Pale yellow, with pear, apple and citrus over white peach, and a salty, stony note the volcanic soil gives. Lean and tonic rather than rich, with tense acidity and a lemon-pith finish. Made for fried seafood.
