Mary Taylor bottles under the grower's name, and this is Filipe Ferreira's Douro tinto: 60 percent Touriga Nacional with Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca, raised in steel so the fruit stays clean. Blackberry and wild cherry with violet and mountain herbs, graphite and warm spice behind. Concentrated but fresh, with fine tannins and the schist minerality the Douro gives.
