DESCRIPTION
This is a Pinot Noir from the Left Coast label. Pinot Noir is the lightest and most perfumed of the major red grapes, and it's at its best when the fruit stays fresh and the oak stays in the background.
Expect cherry and tart blackberry, a floral lift, and a touch of tobacco and white pepper. There's a moderate dose of oak and a bit more tannin than many Pinots, which gives it some grip without drying the finish.
Serve it slightly cool, around 58-60F, in a wide glass. It's an easy match for salmon, roast chicken, mushroom risotto or a Thanksgiving table. A good everyday red for people who find Cabernet too heavy.
