The oldest bourbon Knob Creek has released, at their usual 100 proof. Deep mahogany, with toasted oak, caramel and vanilla on the nose, then dried fruit, dark chocolate and baking spice. Full bodied, with butterscotch, roasted nuts, molasses and cinnamon against deep oak and char. Long finish on smoky oak and caramelised sugar. Oak forward, as eighteen years will make it, but still lively.
