Barrel fermented and left on lees, which gives this the weight without burying the fruit. Stone fruit and baking spice on the nose with brioche and golden apple, then crisp apple and peach across a rich, textured palate. The Russian River acidity holds it together. A buttery style of Chardonnay, done with some restraint.
