Hailing from the same Paso Robles estate, the Isosceles is JUSTIN Winery's flagship Bordeaux-style blend, crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon with supporting casts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot sourced from gravelly, well-drained vineyards. After night harvesting to preserve acidity, each lot ferments in small open-top stainless steel tanks with daily punch-downs, then is pressed off to barrel for 22 months' aging-70% new French oak-where it gains notes of anise, dark chocolate and espresso. The estate's unique east-west vineyards ensure diurnal temperature swings that concentrate flavors while retaining freshness. The finished wine delivers a seamless interplay of blackcurrant, black cherry and graphite, underscored by refined, velvety tannins and a lingering mineral drive.
