Robert Parker's Wine Advocate The Juan Gil (silver label) feels more harmonious, complex and deep , as I noticed in most wines when I tasted both years; it's longer and more elegant, very clean. It has similar parameters but the perception is fresher. It matured in French oak barrels.
Vinous Sourced from Jumilla, the Silver Label is 100% organically grown Monastrell. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, it offers cherry aromas with notes of undergrowth and hay. Concentrated and ripe on the palate, it finishes with a rustic note and blunt tannins. It seems there may have been some blockage in the vines during the ripening period.
