Charles Jacquin et Cie has been making cordials in Philadelphia since 1884, when Charles Jacquin came over from France, and it is still the only cordial producer in Pennsylvania. Ripe and fruity on the nose, then a warm body full of dark blackberry with a hint of chocolate through the middle. Long, sweet finish. Good in baking and mixing.
