Ilegal Mezcal Añejo is made from 100% Espadín agave, roasted in underground pits and fermented in open vats. After double distillation, it's aged for roughly 13 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels—some new, some medium-char. The oak integration smooths the agave character, creating a rounded and rich mezcal suited for those exploring aged agave spirits.
