DESCRIPTION
Hess is a long-established Napa Valley name, and Allomi is one of its vineyard-named wines. This is its Chardonnay, made in a rich, generous California style.
Expect enticing aromas of vanilla, yellow stone fruit and crème brûlée. The palate is creamy and full, with peach and baking spices, and a long, smooth finish lifted by mouthwatering acidity. It's a Chardonnay for people who like some richness, without being heavy.
Serve it chilled but not ice cold, around 50-55F, so the flavors can open up. It's a great match for roast chicken, lobster, crab cakes, pasta with cream sauce or grilled pork. A dependable bottle for dinner parties, and an easy one to please a crowd.
Bottle size: 750ml
