HERZOG SELECTION FRANCE CHATEAU FOURCAS DUPRE 750 ML

The wine has a medium to deep ruby-red color with purple hues at the rim. The aromas are initially of slightly meaty & slightly dilute red-fruits. The wine has fresh acidity & fine tannins.

Juicy black fruit reveals itself on the mid-palate but is closed up by astringent tannins at present - the fruit should open with time. Alcohol is balanced and the structure, rather than the fruit gives length to the finish.
