• Aged Agricole rum from Haiti • Sourced and blended by Berling S.A., a family-run distilling company based in Port-au-Prince with a distillation lineage dating back to 1862 • Ak Zanj translates from Haitian Creole to 'With Angels' and is a nod to the evaporated spirit stolen by thirsty angels during aging • Distilled from sugarcane juice from at low-yield sugarcane varietal named Madame Mueze • Spontaneously fermented; distilled in a 60-plus-year-old Creole Column still • Aged exclusively in a single ex-Cognac cask for 15 years • This elegant rum displays notes of toasted vanilla bean and bananas foster, with hints of Grand Champagne Cognac lingering on the finish • 43% ABV
