DESCRIPTION
Domaine Antonin Guyon is a family estate in Burgundy, and Les Chênes is one of its Premier Cru vineyards in Volnay. Volnay is the Côte de Beaune village known for its elegant, perfumed Pinot Noir.
Expect a deep ruby color and a nose full of small red fruits. The palate is racy and rich, with nice length. It's a Volnay with a bit more weight than the stereotype, but it keeps the village's finesse. It can be kept for up to 10 years.
Serve it around 58-62F in a Burgundy glass. Delicious with meat in rich sauces, roast duck and most cheeses. A good bottle for a Burgundy lover, or for a special dinner where you want Pinot Noir with some depth.
