This right here is an independently bottled Glenrothes single malt, aged in a single cask for quarter of a century! It was distilled back in 1991 and left to mature for 25 years until 2016, when Adelphi got their hands on it and bottled it all up. A release of 167 bottles.
Honey and ginger - a classic combination. Soon enough, hints of dried oak and coconut develop. Soft citrus and fried dough. Rum-raisin ice cream and fresh peach. Hazelnuts and milk chocolate, with a little hint of fig for good measure.
