This ultra-aged Highland single malt showcases Glenmorangie's mastery of long maturation. A 23-year-old Glenmorangie is exceptionally rare due to the evaporative loss ("angel's share") associated with extended aging in the Highlands. The whisky is matured in a combination of American oak and select sherry-seasoned casks that develop notes of roasted nuts, fig, honeycomb, polished oak, and spice. The LNY 2026 Horse Edition elevates the presentation with ornate packaging inspired by the zodiac celebration. The serene coastal environment of Tain, combined with Glenmorangie's delicate distillation style, allows long-aged expressions to remain refined rather than over-oaked.
