DESCRIPTION
A small family estate at San Giovanni in Monforte d'Alba, about seven hectares sitting among the Bussia crus, worked by the Alessandria family since the 1940s. Ripe blackberry and cherry on the nose with a little vanilla and earthy spice, then juicy plum and morello cherry. Barbera's acidity is there but the tannins are soft, which makes it easy at the table.
