Freixenet, Global Sparkling Wine Leader, Launches Alcohol-Removed Sparkling Wine. ... The result is two fresh, fruit-forward sparkling wines containing 0.00-0.05% alcohol that cater to the health- and wellness-conscious consumer, and can be enjoyed at any moment.

The grapes are squeezed, fermented and filtrated to obtain a 10% abv wine. The alcohol is then removed by vaccum distillation at 40˚Celsius. Then the fining and filtration occur. C02 and SO2 are adjusted. Before bottling, there is a cold sterile filtration.
