Simon Ford has worked in the Gin industry for over 10 years, training and educating people worldwide. The 86 Company is his new venture that is centered around the input of bartenders. Everything from recipe development to the ergonomics of the bottle, his goal was to create products specific to the needs of bartenders. In collaboration with Charles Maxwell, Master Distiller at Thames, they developed a recipe for gin to fit those needs. We have only great things to say about 86 Co and this bottling of gin. The distillate is flawless with aromas of lemon peel, coriander, and juniper. The continued floral aromas make this a desirable gin for cocktails, whence the goals of 86 Co.
