This limited-release Straight Bourbon Whiskey is crafted by blending 5-year-old high-rye bourbon from MGP Ingredients with 5-year-old Sweet Mash Filibuster Straight Bourbon; then finished for three months in port casks to create a balanced; handcrafted; high-proof expression with exceptional smoothness. Medium amber in color; it offers bright aromas of creamy tropical fruits; baked peach; golden plum; white grape; and cardamom. The palate is rich and sweet; revealing notes of vanilla; egg custard; ripe banana; and Madeira cake; while the finish lingers with dry sherry; honey; and a remarkably vivid spectrum of flavors.
