DESCRIPTION
The Cinelli Colombini family have owned land at Montalcino for six centuries, and Barbi was one of the twenty-five producers of Brunello when the zone got its DOC in 1967. The estate runs to 865 acres, of which forty hectares are registered for Brunello. Red cherry and wild berry with dried rose, tobacco and sweet spice, structured but graceful, with fine tannins and a mineral finish.
