Herve Dubourdieu makes this from about 60% Semillon with Sauvignon Blanc and a little Muscadelle, from old Semillon vines, some over fifty years. Honeysuckle, lychee and citrus on the nose with spring flowers and a grassy Sauvignon note. Mouth-coating on the palate, passion fruit and ripe grapefruit, but built on a spine of chalk and acidity and completely dry, whatever the tropical fruit first suggests.
