Coppersea Raw Rye

If you think you've tasted all the rye whiskey worth tasting or that white spirits are just not as good as aged ones, then be prepared to have your mind changed. Coppersea is a brand new distillery in upstate New York. Taking craft to the extreme, they are making this rye from a single source in custom made Portuguese direct fired pot stills. They leave the rye virtually un-filtered and full of flavor. Creamy malted grain, peppery earthy spice, and sweet floral notes are all there combining great purity and complexity.
75% raw, unmalted rye. 25% malted barley. Alcohol: 45%
