DESCRIPTION

The Coastal Estates by BV Cabernet has a distinct varietal profile full of dark, rich red fruit characteristics, enriched by toasted oak and spice from aging on French oak.

It has a light, inviting, very forward nose of blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, licorice, and chocolate. Flavors of blackberry and raspberry dominate with the addition of moderate tannins and finish medium-broad and medium-long.

Do NOT Order - Falsely Advertised

The description of the wine on this page is falsely advertised. "COASTAL ESTATES CABERNET 2019" is the wine advertised on this page. I ordered five bottles and was shipped Coastal Estates 2020 bottles. When I called up customer service they told me that somewhere on this page it is apparently noted that their distributor can fulfill any order for bottles less that $20 from any year.

Looking over this page I do not see this noted anywhere let alone made abundantly clear. As anyone who drinks wines knows, the year a bottle is produced can make a HUGE difference. To not make the fact that your filling my order with any year from a given vineyard abundantly clear is disingenuous.

To WineChateau's credit, they offered to comp me on one bottle. Still, it was a frustrating experience as they refused to refund my purchase.

Overall - Do NOT buy. You will not get a Coastal Estates Cabernet 2019 which was an amazing wine for it's price point.
