DESCRIPTION
Not an ordinary Provence rose. Clos Cibonne works almost entirely with Tibouren, an old local grape nobody else bothers with, and ages the wine about a year in hundred-year-old foudres under a veil of flor, the way sherry and vin jaune are made. The result is strawberry and orange zest with garrigue and a briny edge, then a broad, oily texture and savoury depth on the palate. Still fresh at the finish. Rose with something to say.
