Medium ruby-red in color has a purple hue. The aromas are of restrained plumy fruit with a little toasty oak. The palate combines fresh blackcurrant & plum fruit with lively acidity. The mid-weight structure is velvety smooth & a touch leafy, finishing with a nice bite.
The tannins are fine & well-integrated with the fruit. Alcohol is balanced, the finish is mouth-watering & shows good length.
