Chateau La Dominique

The wine has a medium depth of darkly pigmented ruby-red color. The aromas are currently quite dumb & closed-in. Plumy red-fruit on the palate has drying coffeeish notes. Fine-grained tannins currently close up the mid-palate.

The wine is of mid-weight with fresh acidity & balanced alcohol. The finish is quite drying & a little attenuated, but is of reasonable length. The fruit should open with age as the tannins soften.
