Chateau Gruaud Larose Saint-Julien 1995

This showed beautifully, with a tremendous typicity. The aromatics were spot-on: cassis, graphite, leather and a bit of herbs. These notes intensified on the palate, with a pleasing green streak taking on more prominence. An impressively long finish. Lovely stuff.

Surprisingly vivid. Beautiful color. Classical Bordeaux. Hints of liquor en tobacco. Decant for at least an hour before drinking.
