Château Beauregard 2019 is a red Bordeaux from the excellent 2019 vintage, a year that produced ripe, balanced wines across the region.
Red Bordeaux is a blend led by Merlot and the Cabernets, and it's known for dark fruit and structure rather than sheer power. Expect plum, blackcurrant and cherry, with notes of cedar and earth and fine tannins. A 2019 should be drinking nicely now, and it will keep for several more years.
Decant for 30 to 60 minutes and serve around 62-64F in a large Bordeaux glass. It's a classic match for roast lamb, steak, duck or hard cheeses. A good bottle for a dinner party or for someone building a small cellar.
