• CCOF Certified Organic • 100% Chardonnay • Hanzell Estate Vineyard (Moon Mountain AVA) • Sourced from de Brye, Zellerbach, Day, Ramos and Ambassador’s 1953 vineyard blocks • Average vine age: 38-year-old • Red Hills Series and Raynor-Montara clay-loam soils • 415-810 ft. elevation • Hand-harvested • Two hours minimum juice and skin contact prior to pressing • Fermented in 59% stainless steel and 41% new French oak barrels • Lees stirred for first two months • 41% - all of the barrel fermented portion goes through malolactic fermentation • Aged 18 months total in mix of new French oak, used French oak & stainless-steel • 14.1% abv
