DESCRIPTION
Chappellet was one of the first to plant high on the hillsides of Pritchard Hill, and has been there more than four decades. The Cabernet Franc vines went in in 1989, on volcanic soil. Dark cherry, cassis, olive and sage with vanilla, nutmeg and clove from the oak. Supple and elegant on the palate with plush tannins.
