James Suckling Quite an austere wine with aromas of earth, tar, lush dried cherries, pomegranates and dried flowers. Full-bodied and firm on the palate, with almost sour flavors, dusty yet ripe and woven tannins, some waxy character and a graphite finish. It will need time for better integration.
Decanter Elegant perfumed nose of redcurrant and strawberry; palate of tight tannins, sweet oak and a slatey minerality.
