CADE farms high on Howell Mountain, northeast of St Helena, and draws this wine from five sites up there including the estate vineyard. The 2022 runs dark: currant and black cherry with chocolate, and a leafy, herbal, forest edge behind it. Tannins and acidity are well knitted, and the finish is long. Classic mountain Cabernet structure. This is the half bottle.
