DESCRIPTION
Cabernet Sauvignon led, at 89 percent, with Merlot making up most of the rest. Dark ruby, with the Lafite perfume of graphite, spring flowers and crushed rock over sweet black cherry and blackcurrant, and thyme and sage appearing with air. Medium bodied and beautifully balanced, choosing elegance over weight, with a silky finish. It was backward on release and still rewards cellaring.
