At Bumbu Rum Company, we handcraft our rums from a blend of sugarcane selected from eight countries throughout the West Indies and South America. Our rum is aged up to 15 years to achieve exceptional balance and smoothness, without sacrificing richness and complexity that makes our Barbados distillery’s rum the world’s best – although we’re a little biased.Our ultra-heavyweight glass bottle is a work of art on its own, adorned with a tarnished metal ”X” in front and map of the Caribbean across the back. Our favorite part is the old-fashioned, oversized cork - you’ll hear a celebratory POP each time you crack open the bottle.We like to sip our Bumbu straight, but try it over ice or in your favorite cocktail.

Bananas

There is a strong banana flavor upfront and center. It's a bit like fake banana fcandy lavoring but there is also something else, maybe coconut or mild pineapple? What follows the initial punch is a light but mature whiskey flavor. It's complexity shows up more subtley on the backend and is like switching music genres mid-dance. This isn't bad at all because everything about it is quality. I can see why it's won awards. But I also know people who hate banana and would probably be turned off by this. For everyone else, it'll be a nice discussion peice for socials and you won't regret buying it otherwise. It's a fun whiskey to drink, defenite mood elevator.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I drink it strait up but shaken with ice. It is my favorite rum. All I drink is Bumbu Rum. It crushes all the competition by far!!! The only problem is it's not always in stock at your local store. So make sure you have a bottle for back up at all times. LOL
