Lucas Bols has been distilling in Amsterdam since 1575, which makes it one of the oldest spirits houses anywhere. This is a blend of apricot kernel distillate, fresh apricot juice and brandy. Deep golden amber, moderately sweet, with apricot skin and flesh, almond and a little pink grapefruit zest. It is the apricot liqueur the original Mai Tai and Zombie were built on.
